Optional Skate Hire - £2 per pair of skates (toddler sizes to Adult UK 15 available).

Registered Carers Ticket* - Only required if skating (does not include skate hire)

Please note tickets are non-refundable.

*Registered Carer tickets are only valid when attending with a fully paying adult and accompanied by acceptable proof of carer identification. We accept all photo ID carer cards such as Access Card +1, National Carers ID, CEA Card and Local Authority Carer ID Card. If you bring a PIP letter, DLA letter, Attendance allowance award letter, GP Letter, social worker support letter, or carer registration letter, then please also bring along a proof of photo ID. Failure to provide acceptable proof of carer identification at the event will result in refusal of entry.

Join The Skate Sanctuary for friendly and inclusive roller-skating workshops!

Skate Sanctuary believe roller-skating is for everyone, and are coming to WX to support folks to find their confidence and improve their techniques - all under the warm glow of Helios!

These sessions are suitable for beginners, improvers and pros. For beginners and improvers, tips and advice for getting started will be provided during the session.

You can bring your own skates, or you can hire a pair from us – safety equipment is also available.

SESSIONS

Each session lasts around 1 hour, please arrive 15 minutes before your session start time.

Session 1 - Under 12 Skate | 12pm-1pm

Session 2 - All Ages Skate | 1pm-2pm

Session 3 - All Ages Skate | 2pm-3pm

Session 4 - All Ages Skate | 3pm-4pm

Session 5 - All Ages Skate | 4pm-5pm

Session 6 - Ages 12+ Skate | 5pm-6pm

Coming with a skater but not skating yourself? No ticket is required and seating will be available on a first-come first-served basis.

Please note: To keep the event safe and enjoyable for everyone, all participants must be in a fit and sober condition to skate. Anyone who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to skate, and no refund will be issued in these circumstances. Our team reserves the right to make this decision at any time during the event to protect the safety of all skaters and staff.
