How do I book tickets for events at WX?
You can find out more about the various events via our What’s On page, some events don’t require booking, so you can just turn up for those. For events that require booking, there will be a booking link on the specific event page.
Do you have a box office so I can buy tickets on the door?
We don't have a box office, but you can buy tickets online via the relevant event page on our What's On section. If you are having any issues, our onsite staff will be happy to assist you.
What is an acceptable proof of carer identification for Registered Carers Tickets?
Registered Carer tickets are only valid when attending with a fully paying adult and accompanied by acceptable proof of carer identification.
We accept all photo ID carer cards such as Access Card +1, National Carers ID, CEA Card and Local Authority Carer ID Card.
If you bring a PIP letter, DLA letter, Attendance allowance award letter, GP Letter, social worker support letter, or carer registration letter, then please also bring along a proof of photo ID.
Failure to provide acceptable proof of carer identification at the event will result in refusal of entry.
Do you have a cloakroom?
There is no cloakroom on site.
Do you have family and baby facilities?
Yes. We welcome children and families throughout the year. WX is fully accessible to pushchairs, including accessible public toilets, baby changing facilities, and highchairs.
Is there a cash machine at WX?
There isn’t a cash machine based at WX, but you’ll find one in Trinity Walk near Sainsbury’s, Eurochange and Barclays bank.
Are children allowed in WX?
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when entering WX.
Children will not be admitted to events specified as 18+.
Are dogs allowed?
We welcome well behaved dogs during day to day operation throughout the venue. Please note only assistance, or guide dogs are able to visit during ticketed events.
Can I book a table in advance?
No, just turn up and enjoy!
Do you do table service at WX?
All vendors are self-service.
Order directly from the vendor and they will provide you with a buzzer that will alert you once your food is ready to be collected.
Is WX a good place for social gatherings?
Absolutely! With a large bar and street food available, it’s the ideal spot for a social gathering. Whether you’re celebrating, or having a casual get-together, WX is the perfect place!
I think I’ve lost something at WX, how can I contact lost property?
Firstly, if you can we’d suggest visiting WX first to find it or speak with a member of staff. If you are unable to visit, please email hello@wxwakefield.co.uk
What measures are in place for those with allergies?
Allergen information will be displayed on the menus, however please let our food and drink vendors know if you have any allergy or dietary requirements. Please note, as WX operates a communal style dining experience, whilst we take care of reducing cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee a fully allergen-free environment.
