Line Up:
MC Colin Manford
Colin Manford is a North West based comedian who also happens to be Jason’s little brother!
An accomplished writer, actor and presenter who just loves to tell stories from his own unique perspective, all areas covered from his failed relationships to his weird and wonderful family life and more. No-holds barred comedy at its finest.
A very strong MC who can connect with any audience and can adapt to any situation, enjoying a growing reputation which has seen him booked not only in countries such as The Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovenia, Malta and Romania but also the UKs top clubs.
He has written for 8 Out of 10 Cats and Walk on the Wild Side and his debut one man show had 2 sell out nights at the 2010 Manchester Comedy Festival.
Tales of student and family life. A funny guy. Holding his own on stage he bridges the gaps between the generations.
Mirth on Monday
Naturally and effortlessly funny.
Alex Boardman
Opening Headliner: Roger Monkhouse
Roger Monkhouse is one of the comedy scene’s most original acts, wielding charm and menace with a prowling stage presence and razor-sharp material.
Since his 1990 debut he’s been a staple at The Comedy Store, Glee Clubs and major venues worldwide, earning Best Compere in 2016 and regular spots on GB News’ Headliners and Radio 4’s Unsafe Spaces.
As a corporate host he improvises effortlessly, blending keen observation with expert gag writing. Known for his quick, topical routines, Roger delivers articulate, thought-provoking comedy that pulls no punches.
He is a gifted natural, with the years of experience to know how to handle a crowd, which goes to make him one of the consummate professionals of the stand-up circuit.
Chortle
Highly regarded by his peers on the circuit - he's shaven-headed, topical, good, and nothing to do with Bob!
Evening Standard
His laconic delivery shields an engaging persona and an enquiring mind.
The Guardian
Middle Headliner: Peter Brush
A highly distinctive performer and deft writer of finely crafted jokes, Peter Brush unassumingly takes the stage with his slight bespectacled frame and scruffy hair, before consummately conquering it with an arsenal of razor sharp quirky one-liners and peerlessly original routines, all delivered in an amusingly awkward fashion.
A former BBC New Comedy Award finalist, Peter performs at clubs all over the UK and abroad. He has written for BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, The Show What You Wrote and Newsjack and was the support act for Alexei Sayle’s 2020 show. Peter has also been Tour Support for Jonathan Pie, Jason Manford, Fern Brady, Arthur Smith and Paul Sinha.
I love Peter Brush...what a comic!
Jason Manford
Compellingly hilarious...first-class gag writing...an original and achingly funny voice
Chortle
A great comic
BBC Radio 4
Closing Headliner: Steve Shanyaski
In 2003, Steve Shanyaski left his office job to pursue comedy, and hasn’t looked back since. With a warm, cheeky charm and surreal storytelling, he quickly made waves, reaching the BBC New Comedian and North West Comedian of the Year finals within six months.
His accolades include Holsten Pils Comedian of the Year and Birmingham Comedy Festival’s Best Breaking Talent. Steve’s offbeat humour and infectious energy have earned him rave reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe and appearances on Comedy Rocks (ITV) and Comedy Store Presents (Comedy Central).
Beyond the stage, he co-hosted XS Manchester’s Football Social and runs the popular YouTube cooking channel Feed with Steve.
One of my favourite comedians.
Jason Manford
Like a mixture between Eddie Izzard and Peter Kay… with a guitar!
Stockport Express
A star in the making.
